My time at Nirma University from 2013 to 2017 was a rewarding experience. I had the privilege of being part of a ROBOCON team throughout all four years, where I built lifelong friendships and received invaluable mentorship from seniors. The university provided ample resources, enabling us to take projects from ideas to fully functional prototypes multiple times.
Through these experiences, I developed essential engineering skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, communication, project management, and critical thinking. These skills gave me the confidence to compete against some of the most talented teams from other national/international universities, where the level of innovation and technical expertise was always high. The hands-on application of what I learned in the classroom was instrumental in shaping my engineering journey.
A defining moment for me was definitely participating in ROBOCON, which sparked my fascination with AI and machine learning. The exposure and experiences I gained helped me stay ahead of the curve and prepared me to embrace the future of technology.
Today, as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, I deploy state-of-the-art AI solutions to millions of products worldwide, a career path shaped by my time at Nirma University. The foundation I built there has been pivotal in my success, and I’m incredibly grateful.
