Aryan Parmar

Being a student at Nirma University and a part of Team Nirma Robocon has been one of the most enriching experiences of my journey. The lab environment fostered creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, allowing ideas to turn into reality and challenges to spark innovation.

Our journey with the Robocon competition was full of highs and lows — from the joy of winning in 2022, to the valuable lessons of being 2nd runners-up in 2023, and the pride of winning again in 2024. Each season strengthened my problem-solving skills, perseverance, and ability to work as part of a driven, passionate team.

Through this journey, I learned to turn learning into implementation, innovate through experimentation, and grow by learning from mistakes. I am deeply grateful to our mentors Dr. Mihir Chauhan and Dr. Akash Mecwan, who supported me in every aspect of this journey, and to my family and friends for their unwavering support.

The experiences and learnings from Robocon continue to shape my professional and personal life, driving me toward excellence and innovation. The Centre of Robotics and Automation (CRA) provides a platform that inspires students to transform their ideas into reality and push the boundaries of creativity. “
