The Centre for Robotics & Automation (CRA), in association with the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) and the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, is organizing a two-day hands-on workshop on the 6DOF Collaborative Robot (UR10e) on 1–2 August 2026 at A Block, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
Designed for undergraduate and diploma students, the workshop aims to provide a strong foundation in industrial collaborative robotics through a blend of theory and practical sessions. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of robotics, forward and inverse kinematics, and the MATLAB Robotics Toolbox, followed by live demonstrations and hands-on programming of the Universal Robots UR10e collaborative robot.
The workshop offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical exposure to one of the most widely used industrial cobots, helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world automation applications. Basic knowledge of MATLAB is recommended as a prerequisite.
With limited seats available, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested participants are requested to complete their registration before 30 July 2026.
