Five-Day Workshop on “Begin with ROS2” at CRA, Nirma University

The Centre for Robotics and Automation (CRA) at Nirma University is pleased to announce a five-day hands-on workshop on “Begin with ROS2”, scheduled from 22 to 26 June 2026 at the Institute of Technology campus, Ahmedabad.

This workshop is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2), a widely used framework for developing advanced robotic applications. The program is ideal for UG, PG, and Diploma students who are interested in robotics, automation, and autonomous systems.

Key Highlights:

Introduction to the ROS2 ecosystem
Installation and setup guidance
Understanding ROS2 tools and architecture
Core concepts: nodes, topics, and services
Working with messages and launch files
Hands-on sessions and mini-project development

Pre-requisite:

Participants should have basic knowledge of Python programming.

₹1500 for Nirma University students
₹1800 for external participants (inclusive of GST)
